Giveaway Goodies!

My goodness, I have been overwhelmed by giveaway prizes recently! It tends to go in phases when I win quite a few in one go, then don’t win any for ages…recently I have been pretty lucky when it comes to random draws! Isn’t that the fun of giveaways??? I wanted to take this chance to share with you some of the wonderful gifts that I have won.

The first giveaway was from Azura Chan, in partnership with her friend Ain. To celebrate her birthday, she was giving away a ‘Jar of Love,’ that I was lucky enough to win.

How adorable is this little jar? I can certainly see that there has been a lot of love put into decorating it!

Canvas Design Giveaway Winner!

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone who entered my giveaway! There was such an overwhelming response! I had 49 entries in total! So good luck to everyone who entered.

And a reminder the prize; your photo on a canvas by Canvas Design!

Edit 1

To enter you had to follow my blog, and leave me a comment saying what you would like on your canvas. Unfortunately the giveaway was only open to UK residents.

To pick my winner, I numbered each of the comments 1 to 49 (excluding my replies and comments from international readers.) This left me with 49 unique entries, which I entered into a random number generator.

List of entrants!

Now Closed – Canvas Design Review and Giveaway

Edit 1

Since James and I are planning on moving in a few months time, I have been collecting house items. Most of them have been essentials, such as kitchen items, which aren’t that thrilling! We haven’t been able to pick too many items for decorating yet, partly because we can’t afford it but also because we haven’t found a house yet so we don’t know what colours etc. we will need. However, when Canvas Design offered me the chance to review one of their canvases, I couldn’t resist!  Continue reading

Very Berry Handmade ATC Swap 2 (and a winner…)

A few months ago I signed up to take part in the second instalment of Very Berry’s fabric ATC swaps. After having so much fun the first time, I couldn’t wait to take part again! I have been meaning to share pictures for ages now but I never got round to it!

First of all, here is the one that I made for Angela of Pretty Little Things in a Box. I have been a follower of her blog for ages now and she was the person who intro Swap-bot and Postcrossing, so I have been desperately hoping that we would get paired for a swap eventually, and what a wonderful one to be paired for!

I know that she likes fairies, so I picked a fairy from the ‘Autumn’ section of my Fairy Cross Stitch book (we both love cross stitching too!) and I made this for her:

A Bit of Good News

As I mentioned the other day, I have been pretty stressed recently with university and as a result, I have been ill on and off for a few weeks. It has also been a difficult week for my Mum as the sale on my Nanna’s flat has finally gone through after she passed away in summer 2011. While the sale of the flat has come as a relief after falling through once and several legal problems on the way, it has also been pretty upsetting as it finally brings everything to a close.

On Thursday night however, just as I was going to bed I got an email from Martine at iMake, saying I had won a giveaway! As usual, I had completely forgotten I had entered a giveaway so it came as a lovely surprise! What was even more exciting was that I had entered the giveaway on behalf of my Mum! Continue reading
