Another Very Busy Week!

I’ve been keeping myself busy with my crafts again this week, around my graduation that is! I have done my weekly CAL so I’m up to here:

The next set of instructions is out today so I am looking forward to the next few rows! You can also see my new tin in the photo…I bought this in Scarborough after a trip to the beach this week and it is the new home for the ATC’s that I have received….they have a lovely snug fit in there 🙂

I also managed to finish the maxi skirt that I have been working on for a while!

Ta-da! I’m thrilled with how it has turned out! Especially as it is the first item of clothing that I have made! There are a few wobbly lines of stitching and a few areas for improvement but I am very happy with it 🙂 It was a huge learning curve making my first item of clothing, making me realise just how important it is for everything to be perfect…no rushing through the steps for these like I usually do! Just as a reminder, I made it using the fabric that I found at the vintage fair, and instructions from here. This is another Pinterest project that I can cross off my list, bringing me a little closer to my goal of completing 10 as part of my 22 before 22 list. My next step is possibly more of an ambitious leap to sewing a dress…another one to cross off my list!

I have also been busily stitching my Woodland Sampler in a desperate attempt to catch up! I have managed to ger this far:

I managed to complete the May square and I am determined to finish June before the end of the week! After a busy day of stitching yesterday I’m nearly there now! After June I’m going to work on some presents that I have to stitch then try to get July done before the end of the month so that I am finally caught up!

The last thing that I have been busy making this week is a card as part of the #PostCircle. I sent of my first letter a few months ago but unfortunately the reply letter got lost in the post so I’m having another go and hopefully something will make its way back to me again! This is currently in the post:

it is the first card that I have ever made…paper crafts are pretty alien to me but I was happy with how it turned out 🙂 I hope the recipient likes it!

I’m hoping that this next week will be as productive…fingers crossed!
