March 2015 Craft Haul!

I’ve recently had a bit of a spending spree to top up my craft supplies. I have been REALLY good since I moved and hardly bought anything so I felt that I was in need of a treat! I’ve recorded a this video to show you everything I’ve bought, and you can see some photos of everything below 🙂

Remember to let me know what is your favourite item that I have bought! And if you have any tips or inspiration for Project Life or Die Cutting let me know!

Advent Calendar: First Quarter

You might remember that last year I stitched an advent calendar for James and filled it with all sorts of goodies. Well, this year, he has filled the calendar up for me! This is what it looked like last year, filled with his presents:

I thought I would share with you the gifts that he has got me, so I am going to post them in four groups of six presents to show you. Here are the first six presents that I have unwrapped:

Weekly Post Round-Up #4

Sorry this post is coming later than usual today…I’ve had a busy week and an especially busy weekend! Last night was my first Rainbow sleepover and 7 of the girls that I volunteer with attended their very first sleepover…and didn’t do a lot of sleeping! It resulted in an afternoon at work on only 5 hours sleep but I had loads of fun so I don’t mind. I even have the badge to prove it!

Anyway, onto the post summary!

This week was a strange one for post, as I didn’t receive anything from Postcrossing, Swap-bot or #PostCircle. I knew that there would be a slight lull as I couldn’t afford to enter as many swaps for a while, so less swaps means less post 😦 but, as pay day was last week, I did have some exciting parcels containing some things that I had ordered instead.

The first thing to arrive was my pack of Alice in Wonderland stamps that I mentioned in an earlier post. I also received three acrylic blocks to mount the stamps, so I have tested the first three and I’m going to keep collecting acrylic blocks for the rest of the stamps. Continue reading

Hobbycraft on Pay Day

Anyone who loves crafts knows how dangerous it is to go craft shopping on pay day and I made that mistake yesterday! When pay day came yesterday, I decided to go as I needed another thread for my Woodland Sampler. Expecting to leave with only a 79p thread was pure madness. I did buy my thread, but I also picked up this rubber stamp from the clearance section for £4.99:

I couldn’t resist the adorable little train of animals armed with their letters…I thought it would look lovely stamped on my envelopes as I post them out!

This adorable pink cupcake trolley caught my attention too. Last time I was delivering Avon my trolley that I carry the orders in broke so this came as a sign that I was in need of a new one! Continue reading
