I made a trip to my local craft shop the other day to track down some eyes for my owl gloves. Because the gloves are quite small, I had to find tiny buttons to fit it! Luckily, they had just what I needed, here are the finished gloves:
I’m really happy with how they have turned out and I think the buttons finish it off well. Now to get started on my second pair for a Christmas present!

They look fantastic!
Thank you 🙂
Oh my they look fantastic! i’m knitting a blanket it’s taking forever!
Haha I don’t know if I would have the patience for a blanket!
It’s been a month already! And 9 balls of wool gone and it’s still not blanket worthy. It’s taking forever. But I’ve been taking time off from it :p xx
Haha good plan. I’m sure it will be worth all of the hard work in the end 🙂 xx
I think so 😀 just long! xx
Well done Hannah, they look great! I’ve made two pairs so far (pics coming soon) and I love them so much I’ll definitely be making more
Ooh I can’t wait to see how yours look 😀
Hi Hannah your owl gloves look great! Did you use the pattern from Mollie Makes? If so, what yarn did you use? I can’t get the right tension with any of the chunky yarns in my stash!
I did use the Mollie Makes pattern. I used sirdar click chunky but mine did turn out a bit on the small side.
Thank you so much! And yes, I was wondering if they were designed for a child… All of my attempts have been too small even for my extremely-slim-wristed step-daughter!
I can just about squeeze mine on but they are tiny!
Those eyes are the perfect finishing touch. They look awesome!
Thank you 🙂 I’m very happy with the outcome 😀
Those gloves are so nice!! Where’d you get that pattern??
The pattern was from Mollie Makes magazine but there are lots of similar patterns on Ravelry
