As I mentioned, this month I have signed up to be part of National Novel Writing Month. Today is the third morning of the challenge, and so far I am pleased with my progress. I am currently exceeding the goal, as, after two days of writing, I should have 3,334 words, but I am steaming ahead with 5,846!
I don’t want to lose momentum, so I am keeping my daily target at 1,667 words. The first day was s bit of a struggle as I wasn’t used to writing such long pieces and doing so much writing in one day! However, I flew through 1,687 words yesterday with the help of the photos that I took for inspiration. I am hoping to repeat this photography trip now that the leaves are becoming more autumnal, and I will also be taking out my 35mm Pentax with a black and white film…just as soon as I have had someone check that the metering is working properly…
I am eager to continue with my massive 50,000 word challenge, although I am a little stumped about which scene I am going to approach today! Hopefully the inspiration will continue for at least the first half of the month, because from there I can start counting down the days!
Good luck to all of my fellow NaNoWriMo-ers!
You should put one of the nanowrimo badges on your blog

We could do it together next month
